This is just a reminder to mark your calendars for Saturday, January 9th! We'll be holding the Buffalo Chips annual Prediction Run 5K, Brunch Pot Luck, and board member elections at the Streng Volunteer Center in William B. Pond Park. (Down the street from Bella Bru.) Coffee and check in starts at 7:30 and we'll run at 8:00. Elections are 9-ish.
The prediction run format: You sign in, surrender your watch, and write down your predicted 5k time. The person who finishes closest to their predicted time wins!
If you are not yet a Chip, or your membership has lapsed, this is a great time to join!

Directions to the Club House: Take Highway 50 to Watt Avenue North. Cross the river and turn right onto Fair Oaks Blvd. Proceed down Fair Oaks Blvd to Arden Way and turn right. Follow Arden Way into William Pond Park. There is a small building just inside the park. There are a couple of parking spaces there. Your options for parking include paying the fee and parking in the main lot or parking just outside the gate and walking in. Alternatively, you can drop off your gear at the venue and park at Bella Bru and jog in as a warm-up. Here's a map.
